Graphic Design / History of Design Study
This project is a comprehensive study of design movements from the late 19th century through the 20th century. I use themes, design elements, and typography trends from each movement to create 6 individual compositions. These compositions will be made in Adobe Illustrator, as a method of incorporating contemporary techniques and technology to explore the recent history of design. The compositions are arranged together into a single piece to create a sort of visual timeline, but they can also be viewed as individual pieces.
